Job Description
Currently looking for an experienced Water/Wastewater Treatment Plant Construction Project Engineer in the Denver, CO area with 3-5 years or more hands on experience to fill an opening with a growing leader in treatment plant construction. Interested candidates must not have more than 3 jobs in the last 10 years and have 3-5 years minimum of experience in this industry.
Responsibilities of the Water/Wastewater Construction Project Engineer
-Assist in the development and monitoring of project budgets.
-Run assigned project(s) to meet or surpass budget and on time completion.
-Collect and code project cost documents and continually monitor and update the budget to reflect changes in work.
-Monitor project schedules and review work schedules for improving work methods.
-Oversee the timely submittal and completion of documentation required by the owner and agencies.
-Prepare subcontractor and supplier agreements to be executed and prepare correspondence to document changes in work or costs.
-Work with foreman and superintendents to monitor all activities to insure a safe and efficient working environment for crews, subcontractors and the public.
-Promote good public relations with owners, subcontractors, and the public.
Requirements of the Water/Wastewater Construction Project Engineer
-Four year degree in Construction Management or Engineering field.
-Proven Project Engineering skills in Water/Wastewater self-performed construction
-Skill in successfully working with project teams and preconstruction with structural concrete, mechanical process piping and excavation experience.
-Team player with strong work ethic.
-it done attitude
-Medium to very large sized experience in the $50M - $200M project range.
-Working knowledge of Design Build and alternative delivery methods is a Big Plus.
Compensation for the Water/Wastewater Construction Project Engineer
-The starting annual salary for this position ranges from $75,000 - $90,000 DOE, plus discretionary annual bonus, Full Medical coverage and paid vacation/PTO.
