Job Description for the Water/Wastewater Construction Project Superintendent
Currently looking for an experienced Water/Wastewater Treatment Plant Construction Superintendent with 10-15 years or more hands on experience to fill an opening with a growing leader in treatment plant construction. Interested candidates must not have more than 3 jobs in the last 10 years and have 10 years minimum of experience in self-performed water/wastewater construction industry.
Responsibilities of the Water/Wastewater Construction Project Superintendent
-Run assigned project(s) and crews in the field to meet or surpass budget and on time completion.
-Monitor project schedules and review work schedules for improving work methods.
-Manage and motivate construction crews to successful and correct completion of water/wastewater treatment plants, pump stations and other water infrastructure in the field.
-Work with foremen to monitor all activities to insure a safe and efficient working environment for crews, subcontractors and the public.
-Promote good public relations with owners, subcontractors, and the public.
Requirements of the Water/Wastewater Construction Project Superintendent
-Proven Project Superintendent skills in Water/Wastewater self-performed construction or closely similar.
-Skill in successfully working with project teams and preconstruction with structural concrete, mechanical process piping and excavation experience.
-Team player with strong work ethic.
-Get it done attitude
-Small to medium sized experience in the $1M - $50M project range require
Compensation for the Water/Wastewater Construction Project Superintendent
The starting annual salary for this position ranges from $90,000 - $125,000 DOE, plus discretionary annual bonus, Full Medical coverage and paid vacation/PTO. Relocation assistance provided if needed.
